Dicas para Otimizar o FireFox

Firefox tem uma configuração importante que é a opção "nglayout.initialpaint.delay", que pode ser modificada digitando o endereço (url) about:config , esta configuração de otimização define o tempo que o Firefox irá esperar para exibir a uma página.

Quanto maior o valor, mais tempo irá demorar para visualizar a página. Porém, em links lentos, o Firefox perderá performance exibindo uma página que ainda não foi completamente carregada, levando mais tempo para redimensionar a mesma de acordo com que o código html vai sendo recebido.

Em uma conexão discada aconselha-se utilizar um valor maior, por exemplo nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 1000 milisegundo (1 segundo), pois a página será visualizada após que um bom volume de dados seja recebido.

Em uma conexão banda larga o valor do nglayout.initialpaint.delay pode ser menor, pois os dados serão recebidos mais rapidamente, sem a necessidade de esperar um tempo maior.
